📍 What You Can Share
🌅 Our Goal
Our goal is to spread awareness of Chhath Puja throughout Southern California, connect Vrati families and community organizers, encourage volunteering, and help devotees find nearby places to participate in the sacred rituals.
Important
This WhatsApp group does not organize or host Chhath Puja events. It is an information-sharing platform to connect people with local Chhath Puja celebrations, participating families, and community organizers.
🙏 A Growing Chhath Tradition in Southern California
The journey of Chhath Puja celebrations in Southern California began in 2023, when a Vrati performed the sacred rituals at North Star Beach. In 2024, Chhath Puja was celebrated successfully at Newport Dunes. In 2025, several smaller groups organized celebrations at different locations, while many families continued the tradition in their own homes.
Let us come together in 2026 to share information, support one another, encourage community participation, and help make Chhath Puja a beautiful and spiritually enriching experience for everyone.
